18 participants with renal disease on maintenance haemodiaylsis. |
Interventions |
45 kcal/kg/d and 1.5 g protein /kg/d versus 35 kcal/kg/d and 1.2 g protein /kg/d versus spontaneous intake. Participants in the first 2 groups received food supplements at appropriate dosing to reach the target intake. |
