Prior housing density significantly influenced how many eggs were laid in the 18–20 h oviposition window, with females from a solitary background laying more eggs than those that had previously been group housed. Resource distribution, by comparison, had no significant effect on laying rate (blue: clustered resources; red: dispersed resources).
