aTime measurement from the beginning of the installation of the pneumoperitoneum (including targeting of the DaVinci Xi), docking and surgery (including suturing of the transversalis fascia or fibrin glue sealing of the inguinal canal as well as mesh fixation) to the end of the skin suture. The time from the beginning of the pneumoperitoneum (incision) to the start of work on the console takes an average of 7 min (range 4–12). There is no significant difference in the overall procedure time between the analyzed periods (ANOVA, p = 0.513)
bUnilateral transversalis fascia suturing takes an average of 06:20 min (range 2:49–10:15)
cUnilateral fibrin glue sealing of the inguinal canal takes 03:47 min on average (range 02:17–04:53)
dMesh fixation with 4 absorbable sutures takes 05:17 min on average (range 02:05–09:35)
