Increased apoptotic index in germ cells from Ink4cd doubly deficient mice. Sections of testes of 15-day-old (A through D) and 19-day-old (E through H) mice of indicated genotypes were subjected to TUNEL assay to score apoptotic cells. As visualized by the brown precipitate, testes from Ink4d-null (G) and Ink4cd double-null (H) mice at day 19 pp showed increased numbers of apoptotic cells within the seminiferous tubules.
