The substrate scope of furans^ab.

^aReaction conditions: furans (1, 0.3 mmol), 4-iodotetrahydro-2H-pyran (2a, 0.9 mmol), Pd(PPh₃)₄ (10 mol%), Xantphos (20 mol%) and Cs₂CO₃ (0.6 mmol) in 5 mL PhCF₃ under Ar at 110 °C for 48 h.
