Our systematic analysis revealed that the cluster pairs C/E, D/E, and C/D are over-represented. The proteins of these clusters are likely to represent major signaling partners in the response of VCaP prostate cancer cells to androgen, as may be exemplified by the well-known interaction between AR (cluster C) and SP1 (cluster D).
