A d’ of 2 corresponds to 90% accuracy (AUC), plotted on the graphs as a black dashed line. The PCD-CT consistently provided higher detectability indices than the conventional system. At the tested CTDI of 10 mGy, neither the EID nor the SPCCT reached 90% AUC to detect a 0.5 mm lipid core. With the small phantom, the EID and SPCCT systems reached 90% AUC down to a lipid core size of 1.5 and 1 mm, respectively.
