qRT-PCR analysis of OTA related genes in the wild-type ITEM 5010 and AC2021 ∆otaY mutant strain of A. carbonarius. Gene expressions were evaluated on MM agar plates after 4 days of incubation at 25 °C in the dark. The reported relative gene expression (2−∆∆Ct) was related to expression levels of each gene in wild-type ITEM 5010. Relative gene expression analysis was performed in triplicates.
