Cobb angle measurement. Tangential lines are drawn from the superior endplate of the superior vertebra and the inferior endplate of the inferior vertebra. The angle formed at the intersection of these two lines is the Cobb angle. A Cobb angle of at least 10 degrees is necessary for diagnosing scoliosis.
