Nine suitable regions were suitable as barcodes or molecular markers. (A) Phylogenetic analysis of the nine regions among Skeletonema species. The bands sequences are S. marinoi, S. tropicum, S. costatum (CNS00243 strain), S. costatum (CNS00303 strain), S. pseudocostatum, and S. grevillea, respectively. The bands of Marker M1 and M2 are shown on both sides. The sequence of CpII region is equal to the CpV region.
