Specific absorption spectra and second differential spectra of the five chromophores in living tissues: dHb, HbO, oxCCO, reCCO, and H2O. The data are downloaded from the medical physics UCL website; dHb and HbO data were obtained by measuring known concentrations of lysed blood samples using a commercial scanning spectrometer. oxCCO and reCCO were measured from bovine heart.
