Glo1 structure was visualized using UCSF ChimeraX [43]. (B) In this study, we find that hyperglycemia impairs Glo1 activity by reducing Y136 phosphorylation. This contributes to elevated MG. From published results, elevated MG can lead to hyperglycemia.
