During this time, the patient collected her full urine output in 12 h intervals, resulting in a total of 112 12 h measurements. The 112 12 h units consist of daytime intervals (from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., uneven numbers) and nighttime intervals (from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., even numbers).
