Depletion of HSP90 increases sensitivity to genotoxic stressors. (A) Wild-type and CTR4-2p-HSP90 strains were 10-fold serially diluted and spotted on YPD agar medium or YPD agar supplemented with CuSO₄ with or without individual stress-inducing reagents at the concentrations indicated. (B) Wild-type and CTR4-2p-HSP90 strains were 10-fold serially diluted and spotted on YPD agar and YPD agar supplemented with CuSO₄ with or without genotoxic stress-inducing reagents at the concentrations indicated. Agar plates were incubated at 37°C and imaged after 2 days. (C) Wild-type and CTR4-2p-HSP90 strains from overnight cultures grown in liquid YPD medium supplemented with 25 µM CuSO₄ were stained with propidium iodide (PI) to examine nuclear morphology.
