Mutation profiles of Chikungunya virus (CHIKV) RNA collected from infected A129 mice. Four type 1 interferon knock-out (A129) mice were inoculated with CHIKV-AF15561, and then serum, skeletal muscle from the injection site near the left rear footpad (SKMIS), skeletal muscle from the contralateral leg (SKMCL), and heart were collected 4 days post infection; RNA derived therefrom was sequenced on a NextSeq550, and mutation rates were extracted from bam files.
