Admission gut microbiota predict enteric gram-negative infection. We found patients with extra-intestinal E. coli infection had a greater abundance of OTU0002 (p = 0.0060 by Wilcoxon-Rank sum test), and patients with extra-intestinal Klebsiella infection had a greater abundance of OTU003 on admission rectal swab (p = 0.020 by Wilcoxon-Rank sum test).
