T-tests for age and education did not violate the equality of variances assumption (Levene’s Test for Equality of Variances), while t-tests for targeted morphemes did in all cases. Thus, reported statistics for morphemes are adjusted based on the (Cochran & Cox, 1957) adjustment of the standard error and the (Satterthwaite, 1946) adjustment of the degrees of freedom.
