Quantitative antibacterial (Escherichia coli (blue) and Staphylococcus aureus (red)) activity (measurements of zone inhibition activity) of biosynthesized Bauhinia tomentosa Linn flower-powder extract-derived AgNPs (as shown in Figure 6). Data are presented as mean ± standard deviation of four independent experiments (* p < 0.01 [E. coli compared with S. aureus]). AgNP has the same efficacy as chloramphenicol.
