Conversion between total Ca²⁺ concentrations ([Ca²⁺]_total) added to the buffer and free Ca²⁺ concentration ([Ca²⁺]_free). Conversions were made based on Ca²⁺ chelator calculations [68]. The experimental conditions are: EGTA = 1 mM, ionic strength 0.17, pH 7.2, temperature 37 °C.
