Females from three mosquito strains were knocked down and their mortality recorded in a space spray trial assay. (A) Knockdown was scored at 30 min using the absence of flight as the knockdown criterion, although this also included mosquitoes that had died. (B) Mortality was then assessed for all mosquitoes 24 h post-spray. Error bars indicate the standard deviation of the mean. Significance was determined using student t-test, *p < 0.05, ns, not significant. WT: the local wild strain of Ae. aegypti; LG: a susceptible strain of the laboratory-generated Ae. aegypti without drug resistance.
