³H-BU99008 competition binding studies with unlabelled BU99008 in the presence of MAO B inhibitors safinamide (reversible) or deprenyl (irreversible) were performed in temporal cortex brain homogenates from one CN (A; 71 years) and AD (B; 85 years) cases using a single concentration of ³H-BU99008 (1 nM) against increasing concentrations of unlabelled BU99008, BU99008 + Deprenyl or BU99008 + Safinamide, respectively.
