Scorecard analysis of EBs determines the iPSC line’s potential to differentiate into the three germ layers, hence, EBs are expected to express few or no self-renewal genes and to show expression of some mesoderm, ectoderm and endoderm markers: Ecto±, Meso±, Endo±.
