Tukey post hoc analysis was performed to identify significant differences. Comparisons between SED and 3hPEX rats within each diet group that were made with Student’s t test revealed significantly greater γ3-AMPK activity in muscles from LFD-3hPEX vs. LFD-SED rats (*P< 0.05), but no significant difference was detected between HFD-3hPEX and HFD-SED rats.
