Methods Within‐subject, cross‐over design.
Participants 8 physically active men with unilateral traumatic transtibial amputation, mean age 37 years (range 31‐51), mean time since amputation was 8.1 years (range 4‐15).

 Participants walked on a 20m indoor runway with a force platform, they walked at their natural cadence.
Outcomes Ground reaction forces (in units of newtons per kilogram body mass (N/kg))
Notes The participants had used the two prostheses for equal amounts of time for at least two weeks before testing.
