Schematic representation of the LAMP product visual readout via lateral flow assay (test strip from Milenia Biotech). Biotin and FITC molecules get incorporated into the product during amplification. The LAMP-amplified product is loaded on the sample loading area on the test strip. The anti-FITC-Ab–coated gold nanoparticles (GNP) bind with the LAMP product and the complex migrates up the test strip via capillary flow. The test line (T) appears on the strip only when the LAMP product is detected by GNP-Anti-FITC-Ab, whereas the control line (C) appears as an intrinsic control for the validity of the assay
