Effects of the NIRF platelet imaging agent TIRO-CyAl5.5 on venous thrombus (VT) length and area. Thrombi were visualized by IVFM via a FITC-dextran angiogram as hypointense areas in the vein. Representative IVFM angiograms are shown in PBS- and TIRO-CyAl5.5-treated animals with 7.5% FeCl3-induced DVT. Each angiogram depicts results from a different animal.
