Graphical overview of the optimization scheme of CovTANet: Tri-level attention-based segmentation network (TA-SegNet) extracts the slicewise lesion segmentation mask and representational features of the corresponding CT-volume which are employed later for the joint optimization of severity prediction and diagnosis.
