Change in the membrane-lipid composition by PMME in yeast cells. (A) The KMY1516 strain (ire1Δ) and its opi3Δ mutant carrying the IRE1 plasmid pRS313-IRE1 (wild-type (WT) or the indicated mutants) were grown in SD medium containing 1 mM choline and were checked for HAC1 mRNA splicing.
