High G6PD expression is positively correlated with poor DOX response in TNBC cells and is associated with low overall survival rate of TNBC patients. (A) Upper panel shows the Western blot result of G6PD level in MCF10A and four TNBC cell lines including MDA-MB-157, BT549, MDA-MB-231, and MDA-MB-468. Lower panel shows IC50 values of DOX in these five cell lines calculated from MTT assay results. (B) Linear regression analysis of G6PD expression level and DOX IC50 values of these cell lines revealed a strong positive correlation with a R-square of 0.993.
