Interventions Delayed progressive enteral feeding (minimal enteral nutrition for 5 days after birth, 110 infants) versus earlier progressive enteral feeding (within 48 hours, 109 infants), with feed volumes advanced by 20 to 25 mL/kg/d until 150 mL/kg/d feed volume achieved
Infants received expressed maternal milk (first choice) or formula or both
