B6D2F1-Stat4E626G/+ mice vaccinated with Δcps1 twice and challenged with lethal C. posadasii Silveira had significantly reduced lung (A) and spleen (B) fungal burdens 14 days post-infection. They were indistinguishable from normal B6D2F1 mice. Dissemination was prevented in B6D2F1-Stat4E626G/+ mice while universally present in unvaccinated B6D2F1 mice.
