SARS-CoV-2 NSP5 and N inhibit avSG formation. a–e HeLa cells seeded on coverslips in 12-well plates (5 × 10⁴ cells per well) were transfected with an empty vector as a control or a plasmid expressing each viral protein as indicated. Each plasmid was transfected with 1.5 µg per well. Twenty-four hours after transfection, the cells were subjected to fixation, permeabilization, and blocking as described in the Methods section.
