Drugs affecting kynurenine pathway in the kidney. Two IDO inhibitors—BMS-98620 and 1-methyl-d-Trp, as well as KAT inhibitors—angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors, angiotensin II type 1 receptor antagonists, diclofenac and gemfibrozil, are recently described modulators of kynurenine pathway in the kidney.
