T1L/T3DM2 disseminates more efficiently than T1L following oral inoculation. Neonatal C57BL/6 mice were inoculated orally with 104 PFU of T1L or T1L/T3DM2 viruses. At days 1, 2, 4, and 8, mice were euthanized and the indicated organs were resected. Viral titers in each organ were determined by plaque assay.
