RMSEs for joint kinematics computed with the IMU system compared to optical motion capture over time for walking. The RMSE increased from approximately 3.5 to 6 degrees over the first 2.5 minutes of the condition. Hip rotation had the largest RMSE and drift. The black line and grey error band represent the average and standard deviation in RMSE across all subjects and joints.
