Results are presented as mean ± STD. Ct.Th = cortical thickness, Ct.Ar/Tt.Ar = cortical area fraction, Iml = moment of inertia in the medio-lateral plane, cTMD = cortical tissue mineral density. Groups represent ten-week-old C57BL/6J male mice fed a low-fat diet (LFD) or a high-fat diet (HFD) for 22 weeks. Statistically significant differences were determined by t-tests (unpaired, two-tailed, α=0.05).
