The table shows the results of four hierarchical linear regressions predicting China-specific and generic COVID-19 conspiracy beliefs, as well as generic (not related to COVID-19) conspiracy beliefs with several demographic (Step 1) and cognitive and emotional predictors (Step 2). Standardized regression coefficients (β’s) and their 95% confidence intervals are presented for every predictor in the final model. Also, the table shows the change in R2 for the both steps of the model as well as the final model. Significant predictors (p < 0.05) are presented in bold. Gender was coded as 1 = “men,” 2 = “women.”
