COPD severity: level Ⅰ refers to patients whose FVC is greater than 80% of its predicted value; level Ⅱ refers to patients whose FVC is between 50% and 80% of predicted value; level Ⅲ refers to patients whose FVC is between 30% and 50% of predicted value; level Ⅳ refers to patients whose FVC is less than 30% of predicted value.
