Lipid levels of hepatic Golgi fraction from Tm6sf2^-/-and WT littermates. Chow-fed male WT and KO rats (n = 3/group, 6–7 wk) were fasted for 16 hours before livers were harvested. Golgi was isolated from livers as described in the Methods section. Lipids of Golgi were analyzed using direct infusion MS/MS^ALL. The fatty acid content of each individual species of TG, PC, and PE was summed within each lipid class to provide the TG, PC, and PE contents and normalized to the amount of ApoB determined by immunoblot. Fold changes between genotypes are presented. Bars represent means ± SD. Differences between groups were analyzed using the Student unpaired 2-tailed t test. ∗∗P < .01.
