Based on their pairwise ANI values, all strains were clustered into two well-separated groups corresponding to D. zeae (type strain: NCPPB 2538) and D. oryzae (type strain: ZYY5), respectively. JZL7 belongs to the D. zeae group and the ANI values between JZL7 and all other D. zeae strains are greater than 95%.
