Schematic overview of the experimental design. ApoE^−/−PFKFB3^fl/flCdh5^iCre mice (6 weeks old) were injected with tamoxifen (0.1 g/kg body weight) for 5 consecutive days to induce PFKFB3 deletion in ECs. Control mice were injected with corn oil using the same protocol. After 2 weeks, mice were fed a western-type diet. Four weeks later, vein graft surgeries were performed.
