(a) Blood samples collected before surgery, on the DOS were processed for single-cell (mass cytometry) and plasma (Olink) analysis as in Fig. 1. (b) An SG analysis of the combined single-cell and plasma proteomic dataset identified a predictive model accurately differentiating patients with and without an SSC (AUC = 0.82, p = 1.56e-03, Mann Whitney rank-sum test). (c) DOS model features were ranked using a bootstrap analysis method, and the most informative features differentiating patients with and without an SSC (bootstrap fold > 2.0) were examined in detail (Supp. Fig. 5, Supp. Fig. 6).
