The distance d between the means is given in the third row. “%low” gives the relative amount of data points (transcripts) in the component with the lower O/E CpG ratio, “%low” “%high” equals to 1. Due to its extreme values the nematode Loa loa was excluded from this table. Its values are: “meanLow” 1/1, “meanHigh” 4.53/1.18, d 3.55/0.18 and “%low” 0.99/0.98 for the real/shuffled data
