Sensitivity of CXCL2 expression level in fetal mouse jejunum cultures to IL‐1β and SCFAs. Fetal mouse jejunum cultures were stimulated with or without IL‐1β (0.5–10 ng/ml) for 24 h (a). Fetal mouse jejunum cultures were pretreated with or without 20−40 mM acetate (b), propionate (c), or butyrate (d) for 1 h, and then cultured with IL‐1β (1 ng/ml) for 24 h.
