Cellular IL-1β (a) and IL-6 (b) levels were measured in pellets from HaCaT cells pre-treated for 2 h with either HA-LIG or HA-CYN, and then added with 200 µg mL⁻¹ of Urban Dust, versus a first control of untreated cells (Ctrl), and a second control of cells treated only with 200 µg mL⁻¹ of Urban Dust. Statistical significance of Urban Dust-treated cells was determined in respect to the 100% of IL-1β and IL-6 rate in untreated control cells (*). Data were expressed as mean ± SD of three independent experiments, each performed in triplicate. Student’s t-test was used to calculate significant differences (*P < 0.05).
