The survey included two questions to investigate whether the student’s view of their own bioinformatics knowledge had changed after undertaking a biocuration project. Respondents rated the bioinformatics knowledge they had acquired before the start of the project (prior project knowledge level) and at the end of the project (post-project knowledge level) using ratings ranging from non-existent to excellent.
