Production of TGF-β1 cytokines by gastric epithelial cells (AGS) induced by the L. fermentum UCO-979C strain obtained from the different ice cream bases at 105 and 107 CFU/mL after 90 days of storage at −18 °C. The name of each ice cream corresponds to the L. fermentum UCO-979C strain obtained from each one of the flavors, and probiotic (control) corresponds to L. fermentum UCO-979C obtained directly from the lyophilizate.
