Production of TGF-β₁ cytokines by gastric epithelial cells (AGS) induced by the L. fermentum UCO-979C strain obtained from the different ice cream bases at 10⁵ and 10⁷ CFU/mL after 90 days of storage at −18 °C. The name of each ice cream corresponds to the L. fermentum UCO-979C strain obtained from each one of the flavors, and probiotic (control) corresponds to L. fermentum UCO-979C obtained directly from the lyophilizate. Means with different superscript letters are significantly different (p < 0.05).
