  • Symptom-oriented therapy.

Radiotherapy or radio(chemo)therapy:

  • Symptom-oriented therapy.

Drug therapy:

  • Palliative systemic therapy is the treatment of choice.

Additional measures:

  • Best supportive care.

Palliative medicine:

  • Early palliative medicine intervention.
