LDH release from HT-29 and MCF-7 cells following treatment with free Nisin Z and loaded on nanosponges (A,B) and plain nanosponges (C,D) for 24 h. Results are expressed relative to the untreated control and the maximum release sample (Positive Control (PC)), which was set as having 0 and 100% LDH release, respectively.
