In vivo relative gene expression changes in the ischemic thigh tissue of mice treated with MSCEselectin−GFP vs. MSCGFP. (A) Expression of several chemokine/cytokine mRNA was significantly higher in the ischemic thigh muscle treated with MSCEselectin−GFP vs. MSCGFP measured by quantitative PCRArray by post-operative day 21. However, tumor necrosis factor (TNF) was significantly downregulated. Equal portions of RNA from three mice in each treatment group were utilized to perform reverse transcription reaction. Each experiment was repeated three times and data are presented as fold-change of treatment/control (*P < 0.05 via Student's T-test).
